Junior Risk Analyst

Role Description The Junior Risk Analyst is a part-time remote role focused on supporting risk assessment and monitoring activities related to Private Equity fund accounting and operations. In this role, the analyst will assist in identifying, evaluating, and documenting financial and operational risks across fund structures, transactions, and reporting processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and analyzing data, preparing risk reports and dashboards, and supporting the development of risk metrics and controls. The analyst will collaborate with senior team members to review findings, refine methodologies, and help improve internal risk frameworks and best practices. The role may also involve contributing to learning materials by highlighting common risk scenarios and control considerations in Private Equity environments.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and foundational Risk Analysis capabilities.
Candidates should possess core Finance knowledge, particularly related to investments or fund accounting.
Candidates should possess practical understanding of Statistics and data interpretation for risk assessment.
Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, both written and verbal.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field are beneficial.
Attention to detail, integrity in handling financial information, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting are important.
Interest in Private Equity and willingness to learn specialized fund accounting concepts are highly valued.
Prior experience or internships in risk, audit, or financial analysis are an advantage but not strictly required.
