Marketing Intern

OGURA helps aspiring founders build, launch and grow fashion businesses. We run a curated fashion marketplace and a brand launchpad for first-time founders, alongside early-stage GTM and tech products supporting India's D2C fashion ecosystem.
We're looking for a Marketing Intern to support content, social and campaign execution as we build how Ogura shows up to founders, partners and customers.
What you'll do:
🔹 Support content creation for Instagram and other social channels — captions, reels ideas, posting calendar
🔹 Help onboard new clients/founders onto the platform, working closely with the founder team
🔹 Assist in planning and executing brand launch campaigns for founders on the platform
🔹 Help track basic marketing metrics — engagement, follower growth, reach — and compile simple weekly reports
🔹 Research trends, competitor content, and what's working in fashion and D2C marketing
🔹 Coordinate with design and content freelancers on asset requests and timelines
🔹 Support event and partner marketing material as needed
🔹 Maintain the content calendar and posting consistency
What you'll bring:
🔹 Strong interest in fashion, D2C brands and social media trends
🔹 Comfort with Instagram, Canva or similar content tools
🔹 Good writing skills — captions and short-form copy
🔹 Comfortable speaking with clients/founders and coordinating with them directly
🔹 Basic understanding of marketing metrics, even from coursework
🔹 Organised, deadline-conscious, and able to follow a content calendar
🔹 Willingness to learn performance marketing basics on the job
Preferred background: Marketing, Mass Communication, Fashion Management, BBA or related fields. Open to other backgrounds with a strong portfolio or demonstrated interest in fashion/content.
