Harvey Nash USA has been engaged to find a talented Motion Graphic Designer with strong motion design and video production experience for one of our enterprise clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative professional who enjoys bringing product stories, marketing content, and customer-facing experiences to life through polished motion graphics and video.
Job Title: Motion Graphic Designer
Duration: 3-month contract with possible extension
Location: Remote – West Coast

2–4 years of professional motion design, video editing, or digital production experience
Advanced Adobe After Effects and/or Adobe Premiere Pro experience
Experience creating motion/video assets for marketing, customer-facing, social, digital, or product content
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Create, edit, and produce high-quality motion graphics, videos, animations, and visual content for marketing, social media, product, and customer-facing experiences.
Translate raw files, product narratives, UI designs, and prototypes into engaging video and motion assets.
Edit footage, screen captures, product demos, animations, and other visual assets into polished final videos.
Apply motion, typography, transitions, pacing, sound synchronization, and visual effects to improve the overall quality and storytelling of video content.
Create and adapt video assets for multiple formats, channels, and aspect ratios.
Maintain brand consistency and apply strong visual design principles across all deliverables.
Work with product and design files to ensure video captures and motion sequences accurately reflect current product experiences.
Manage file organization, naming conventions, version control, production timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Track feedback, revisions, approvals, and final outputs throughout the production process.
Communicate timelines, progress, blockers, risks, and dependencies to project stakeholders.
Collaborate with design, product, marketing, and business teams to understand creative requirements and incorporate feedback.
Manage multiple projects and shifting priorities while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
Must-Have Skills
Bachelor's degree in Motion Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Film/Video Production, Digital Media, Studio Art, Fine Art, or a related field.
2–4 years of professional experience in motion design, video editing, or digital production.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and/or Adobe Premiere Pro.
Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
Experience creating video and motion assets for marketing, customer-facing, social media, digital, or product-related content.
Strong portfolio demonstrating motion graphics, video editing, visual storytelling, and production quality.
Strong understanding of motion principles, typography, pacing, composition, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency.
Experience managing file organization, naming conventions, version tracking, production timelines, and deliverables.
Working proficiency with Figma, including navigating design files, updating product content, and preparing assets for video production.
Experience with Microsoft 365 products such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Clipchamp, and Copilot.
Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience creating motion or video content for technology, productivity, SaaS, or enterprise products.
Experience creating educational or customer guidance videos.
Experience working with Copilot or other Generative AI/productivity technologies.
Familiarity with video accessibility practices, including captions, readable text, contrast, and clear visual communication.
Experience working in structured creative production environments with formal review cycles and stakeholder feedback.
Experience working with product designers and cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with production workflows, asset libraries, version control, and delivery tracking.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Motion Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Film/Video Production, Digital Media, Studio Art, Fine Art, or a related field.
