About the Company
We are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer with deep React expertise and strong hands-on experience building React Native applications for iOS and Android.
You will take ownership of the broader product experience—not simply individual tickets. Your work will span architecture, performance, reliability, usability, analytics, and conversion. You will collaborate closely with the CEO, Tech Lead, and engineering team to deliver meaningful features and continuously improve the web and mobile products.
This position combines technical excellence with strong product thinking. The successful candidate will use analytics and user behavior to uncover friction, investigate performance or adoption issues, and recommend improvements backed by evidence.
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain high-quality web applications with React and Next.js and mobile applications with React Native.
Deliver improvements frequently while maintaining fast load times, smooth navigation, and a polished user experience.
Make and influence architectural decisions across web, iOS, and Android.
Monitor application performance and product health using PostHog.
Analyze funnels, retention, feature adoption, and session recordings to identify conversion bottlenecks and UX friction.
Investigate declining metrics or underperforming features and recommend solutions based on technical and behavioral data.
Optimize rendering, routing, component architecture, and SSR and SSG strategies as the product scales.
Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs with reliable state management, caching, error recovery, and real-time updates.
Contribute product ideas based on user behavior, performance data, and business priorities.
Prioritize high-impact improvements and clearly explain the reasoning behind your recommendations.
Participate in two-week sprints, daily standups, and regular discussions with company leadership.
Own features through the full lifecycle—from planning and implementation to release, monitoring, and production validation.
Write and maintain automated tests that support reliable releases across web and mobile.
What You’ll Bring
Strong experience building production applications with React and Next.js.
Solid React Native experience across both iOS and Android, including navigation, performance optimization, and native module integration.
Strong command of modern JavaScript and asynchronous programming.
Experience with Next.js routing, server-side rendering, static-site generation, and performance patterns.
Advanced knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
Experience with styling systems such as Tailwind CSS or Styled Components.
Experience integrating REST and GraphQL APIs.
Strong understanding of state management, caching, error handling, and resilient application design.
Experience with testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
Familiarity with PostHog, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or a comparable product analytics platform.
Ability to interpret funnels, events, retention data, feature adoption, and session recordings.
A track record of identifying product or user-experience issues proactively.
Strong judgment when prioritizing competing technical and product opportunities.
Excellent attention to detail, particularly in UI quality and application performance.
Clear communication skills and confidence working directly with technical and business leadership.
An ownership-oriented, energetic, and collaborative approach.
Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment with frequent releases.
Nice to Have
Experience with TypeScript, including interfaces, generics, and type inference.
Experience collaborating on Node.js backends built with Express or NestJS.
Experience in real estate, analytics, investment, or another data-driven consumer product.
Experience taking features from initial concept through release and analytics-based production validation.
Familiarity with mobile debugging and performance-profiling tools for iOS and Android.

The team works in two-week sprints and maintains a fast, highly collaborative delivery rhythm. Engineers are expected to participate actively, raise thoughtful questions, challenge assumptions constructively, and share ideas—not simply execute assigned tasks.
A feature is considered complete when it has been released, monitored in production, and validated through analytics and real user behavior.

Work Details
Candidates may be based in Latin America. The strongest fit will be someone who can maintain substantial overlap with Eastern Time working hours, ideally from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. ET.
This is a remote, full-time contractor position.
