Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Capital Coordinator MSE3 (PS)

Senior Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for Capital coordination for high pressure gasoline pumps and fuel injectors.
Coordinate audit activities including preparation for, completion of, and closing of open points stemming from fixed asset audits.
Plan upcoming releases by participating as manufacturing contact in planning meetings, coordinating required builds, and line preparation with department and MFE team.
Facilitate RFQ process between MFE, internal purchasing, and machinery suppliers.
Plan and execute capital equipment (MAE) acquisition (coordination of purchase order) including initial justification including total cost calculation, quotation, MAR process and calculating payback period.
Manage cross-functional teams to align and approve equipment acquisition and retirement.
Identify and lead projects to improve safety, cost, quality, delivery, and utilization of manufacturing processes in order to meet Policy Deployment objectives.
Develop, maintain, and apply lean manufacturing principles (BPS) throughout the value stream with regards to equipment design, selection, layouts, and material flow.
Perform additional assignments as needed.
BS in Engineering with 7+ years relevant experience.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with SAP
Demonstrated ability to work in a highly dynamic organization.
Good interpersonal project management skills.
Ability to clearly summarize and recommend alternative ideas addressing complex issues.
Highly organized self-starter and use good judgment.
Strong analytical skills.
Technical detail-oriented.
Active team player.
Capital coordination experience preferred.
