About The Opportunity
We are looking for an innovative and driven Data Engineer to join a highly visible team within our organization. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping our data strategy, directing team investments toward impactful, data-driven initiatives, and fostering a culture of technical collaboration and scalable development. You will tackle complex problems head-on, partnering closely with stakeholders to build robust solutions that empower the entire business.
Responsibilities
Design & Build: Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines and robust data models.
Production Coding: Write clean, efficient, and production-level code in Python and SQL.
Data Integration: Utilize Apache Spark to access, process, and extract insights from our S3 data warehouse.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various teams across the organization, actively gathering input from stakeholders to align technical deliverables with business needs.
Strategic Impact: Contribute fresh ideas and help direct the team’s focus toward the most impactful, data-driven directions.
Problem Solving: Act as a proactive communicator who simplifies complex technical challenges and drives projects forward.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.
Experience: 3+ years of professional work experience in Data Engineering.
Core Technical Skills: Strong background in data modeling and data pipeline development. Proven experience coding at a production level using Python and SQL. Familiarity with using Apache Spark to interact with an S3 data warehouse.
