Python Engineer

About The Opportunity
We are looking for a Python Engineer to develop and maintain services used by internal teams. You will help rebuild and improve a DevOps application and strengthen the tools developers use to manage environments for content delivery. This is a delivery-focused role with clear timelines. The engagement is currently expected to run through Q2 2027.
Responsibilities
→ Python Service Development
Develop, maintain, and improve internal services using Python and Flask.
Troubleshoot issues and make services more reliable and maintainable.
→ DevOps Application & Developer Environments
Rebuild and enhance an existing DevOps application.
Improve how developers create and manage environments to support content delivery use cases.
Work with developers and other stakeholders to understand pain points and turn them into practical improvements.
→ Collaboration & Delivery
Break down requirements into actionable work and communicate progress and blockers clearly.
Deliver improvements against project timelines while maintaining code quality.
Required Qualifications
Hands-on experience developing and maintaining applications or services with Python and Flask.
Experience improving existing applications, including working through legacy code and technical challenges.
Familiarity with developer tooling, DevOps workflows, or environment management.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and deliver in a deadline-driven environment.
Clear communication and collaboration skills.
Nice To Have Skills
Experience building internal platforms or tools for engineering teams.
Familiarity with content delivery workflows.
Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices.

A reasonable estimate of the current range for a Python Engineer is from $62 to $72 hourly.
