• Implement automations to reduce repetitive manual tasks, collaborating with IT and data teams on event-related tools.
• Maintain deep knowledge of key industry conferences, event producers, audience dynamics, and sponsorship economics within the assigned asset class.
• Advise Sales partners on attendee profiles, target accounts, and the business rationale for event investments.
• Act as a strategic partner to Sales teams by proactively participating in planning cadences, evaluating event requests, and proposing alternatives when investments are not warranted.
• Share event, account, and market insights across the broader events function.
Required Qualifications
• 6+ years of experience managing B2B events, field programs, customer programs, or comparable initiatives with ownership of business outcomes.
• Strong commercial orientation, with experience carrying or contributing to a pipeline or revenue target, or a deliberate focus on commercial accountability.
• Demonstrated prioritization and judgment skills, including the ability to push back on low-value initiatives and recommend effective alternatives.
• Proven track record of building collaborative relationships with account executives and sales leaders.
• Working fluency with Salesforce, Marketo, Asana, and event management technology, with an understanding of data hygiene.
• Demonstrated history of developing engaging event programs that deliver audience value beyond standard logistical execution.
• Ability and willingness to travel for on-site event execution.
Preferred Qualifications
• Professional experience in private markets, asset management, fintech, or financial services.
• Familiarity with the private markets conference landscape and major event producers, particularly within private equity or venture capital.
