The Beauty Professional is seeking an entry-level Data Analyst to support data preparation, reporting, and the interpretation of business information. The role involves preparing clear reports and reliable datasets that colleagues can review and use in their work.
Relevant projects and study are welcome evidence of your skills. You do not need prior full-time analyst experience to apply.
Accuracy starts with understanding the source. You will check what each field represents before using it in a report.
Responsibilities
Organize and clean datasets, checking for missing values, duplicate records, and inconsistent formatting.
Prepare summaries with spreadsheet formulas and basic SQL, using clearly defined reporting questions.
Update recurring reports and dashboards, checking calculations before sharing results.
Compare results across reporting periods and flag changes that need further investigation.
Keep notes on source files, calculations, and data limitations to make your analysis reproducible.
Clarify reporting requests with colleagues and communicate findings in straightforward language.
Qualifications
Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, filters, and pivot tables.
Basic SQL knowledge, including selecting, filtering, and grouping records.
A careful approach to checking data and resolving discrepancies.
The ability to explain findings without overstating what the data supports.
Clear written communication and the ability to organize assigned tasks remotely.
Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or another visualization tool is helpful but not required.
Compensation And Application
