About The Role
The Construction Estimating Coordinator will support estimate preparation, pricing research, scope review, quantity takeoffs, vendor quotes, and cost documentation for residential renovation projects. The role requires organized follow-through, accurate records, clear communication, and sound judgment in a remote working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Review plans, scopes, and project details to prepare organized estimate inputs.
Collect and compare material pricing, labor assumptions, and vendor or subcontractor quotes.
Maintain estimate files, assumptions, revisions, and supporting documentation.
Review assigned information for completeness and raise discrepancies before they create avoidable delays.
Document assumptions, approvals, changes, and open items so work remains easy to review.
Prepare concise updates and keep priorities visible through shared systems and communication tools.
Qualifications
Experience or education relevant to construction, renovation, project support, estimating, design coordination, administration, operations, or a closely related field.
Strong organization, written communication, and attention to detail.
Comfort with spreadsheets, digital records, email, and remote collaboration tools.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and ask focused questions when information is incomplete.
Professional judgment when handling project, client, vendor, scheduling, or pricing information.
