ServiceNow Engineer
Experience: 8 to 12 years overall, with 6 or more years hands-on with ServiceNow.
Role Summary
We are looking for a hands-on ServiceNow Engineer who can execute an approved backlog independently and deliver production-ready workflow and integration solutions with minimal supervision. This person will build, configure, unit test, and deploy platform changes, and will contribute directly to upgrade readiness and stabilisation activities.
Key Responsibilities
Execute approved backlog items covering workflow design, development, modification, testing, and deployment.
Develop and enhance Flow Designer flows, Service Catalog items, and request fulfilment processes.
Must be having SPM experience. (Strategic Portfolio Management.)
Automate onboarding and offboarding processes.
Build, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations, including Active Directory integration.
Support upgrade preparation, remediation, testing, and post-upgrade stabilisation.
Perform platform configuration and operational troubleshooting.
Carry out CMDB configuration and maintenance activities.
Produce technical documentation and support knowledge transfer.
Participate in technical planning, backlog grooming, and delivery sessions.
Required Skills And Experience
8 to 12 years in IT, with 6 or more years hands-on with ServiceNow.
Strong development capability in Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Client Scripts.
Service Catalog item development, variable sets, and approval configuration.
Integration development and troubleshooting using REST and SOAP.
Active Directory integration maintenance and modification.
Platform administration covering ACLs, update sets, and scoped applications.
Practical involvement in at least one ServiceNow upgrade cycle.
Operational CMDB configuration and maintenance.
Certified System Administrator.
Nice to Have
Certified Application Developer.
Automated Test Framework, Performance Analytics, and Service Portal.
Discovery and CMDB population experience.
Agile delivery experience.
Soft Skills
Clear written and spoken English for direct client interaction.
Able to work independently with limited supervision.
Strong ownership and follow-through on assigned items.
Disciplined documentation habits.
