Pay Rate: $ 73.53 to $88.24 /hour, depending on experience
Contract Length: 5 months and 26 days

Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
As a Full Stack Software Developer for the Wires Modernization and BizBank Sustainment projects, you will own the full development lifecycle to build, test, and optimize applications that enhance our clients user workflows. Key Responsibilities & Tech Stack: Design and code microservices using React, Node.js, Python, TypeScript, or Java on Google Cloud Platform, Linux, and Kubernetes. Quality & Operations: Automate test coverage, perform code reviews, ensure continuous integration, and actively reduce technical debt. Innovation: Leverage dedicated "10% time" to experiment, innovate, and use the right tools for the job.
Responsibilities
Designs, codes, unit tests and integrates new features and functionality as defined by the PO and team
Applies creative problem solving that bring software designs to life
Builds apps, APIs and data solutions to drive projects
Assists in the development of automated test harnesses as necessary to ensure delivery of high-quality code
Participates in ideation and brainstorming sessions to devise creative and disruptive digital solutions
Updates progress daily through the tracking tool (Jira) or Kanban board
Completes and ensures completion of any required documentation e.g. deployment, maintenance, support and business needs
Work independently and within a team to research and develop products in line with ’s strategy, including analysis of the product and technical product solution.
Work with the team to explore new ideas through experiment, prototypes and fast feedback.
Work with the Architecture team to adopt new technologies, processes and practices for efficiency and security.
Work with technical teams outside of Engineering and Enterprise services to develop
end-to-end features across cloud, mobile and web infrastructures (Data, Innovation, SAP).
Live, breathe and work in the Cloud
Utilize SCRUM and Agile methodologies to complete tasks and accomplish workflows
Key Deliverables & Responsibilities
Application Design & Development: Design, code, unit test, and integrate new features and functionality for web applications, APIs, and data solutions (specifically supporting projects like the Wires modernization initiative and BizBank sustainment work).
Testing & Automation: Assist in developing automated test harnesses and maintaining high-quality code standards through rigorous peer code reviews.
Documentation & Tracking: Complete and ensure the delivery of necessary documentation (deployment, maintenance, support, and business needs) while keeping project progress updated daily in tracking tools like Jira or Kanban boards.
Innovation & Experimentation: Participate in ideation and brainstorming sessions, build experiments and prototypes for fast feedback, and leverage "10% time" to research and develop new products aligned with 's strategy.
End-to-End Delivery: Work independently and collaboratively across technical teams to build seamless features spanning cloud, mobile, and web infrastructures while optimizing the overall user experience and workflow.
Qualifications
Professional background working as a full-stack developer in an Agile/SCRUM environment, demonstrating full lifecycle software development experience (design, code, test, deliver, maintain, and improve).
 Core Skills & Technical Stack
Programming Languages & Frameworks:
Front-end: React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS.
Back-end & General Purpose: Java, Python, Spring Boot (or equivalent frameworks like Django, Spark, Play).
 Testing & Quality Assurance:
Unit and end-to-end (E2E) testing using tools like Playwright and Selenium.
Commitment to highly automated test coverage, code reviews, and paying down technical debt.
 DevOps, Cloud & Infrastructure:
Source code management and version-control best practices (GitLab or similar).
CI/CD pipeline usage and continuous integration practices.
Hands-on experience working in cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform / GCP is a strong bonus, alongside Linux and Kubernetes).
 Architecture & Security:
Understanding of integration component design, API management, and solution design risk assessment.
Well-versed in secure coding best practices and non-functional requirements.
 Collaboration & Business Fundamentals:
Agile/SCRUM methodologies (daily Jira or Kanban tracking).
Education and Certifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent
