About the role
Description supplied by the original job listing.
At The ReWork Group, we partner with high-growth startups and forward-thinking companies to build the future.
Our client is building a platform where AI doesn't just analyze data; it reasons across it, forecasts what's coming, and acts to save lives across the globe. Now it's time to build the RevOps machine that will take them to market! As their first RevOps Manager, you'll build the machine that turns go-to-market chaos into a number leadership can actually bet on.
Centralizing go-to-market support into a single Revenue Operations function, and you're the first dedicated hire to run it.
This is not a seat where you inherit someone else's engine and keep it idling. There is no engine yet. You're building it. As the connective tissue between Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance, you'll own the systems, data, and processes that power revenue, working shoulder to shoulder with the VP of Finance & Operations and Sales leadership at a scale where what you build shows up in the results this quarter, not two years from now.
What you'll do:
Own the CRM. Serve as key administrator (architecture, workflows, integrations, user management, data hygiene) and design it around how sellers actually work, minimizing friction without letting data quality slip.
Rationalize the GTM tech stack. Build and support the broader tooling (sales engagement, enrichment, marketing automation integrations), and own vendor evaluation and renewals.
Run the forecast. Own the methodology, cadence, and roll-up of the official forecast to the VP of Finance & Operations.
Build the single source of truth. Maintain the definitive view of pipeline, funnel conversion, win rates, sales cycle, and rep productivity, and keep a definitions document (stages, qualification criteria, forecast categories) so everyone speaks the same language.
Deliver the reporting. Ship recurring reporting to Sales, CS, and executive leadership, and answer ad hoc analytical questions with speed and rigor.
Drive planning. Support annual and quarterly planning through territory design, quota setting, and capacity modeling alongside Sales leadership and Finance.
Run a lightweight deal desk. Route discount approvals, handle non-standard terms and quote support, and manage a field intake process with clear turnaround expectations.
Kill the friction. Find and fix what's broken in the lead-to-cash process across Marketing, Sales, CS, and Finance.
Who you are:
You've done the work. 3 to 6 years in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, GTM Finance, or a close relative, ideally at a company of similar size or stage.
You run the CRM, not just use it. Advanced administration experience, end to end.
You're fluent in the numbers. Strong analytical chops in Excel or Google Sheets and comfort building basic models. You've run or supported a forecasting process.
You own the objective number. You bring a service mindset toward the GTM team paired with the independence to hold the line. A trusted partner to Sales without being captured by it.
You translate. A clear communicator who can move fluently between reps, executives, and Finance.
You build from scratch. You're comfortable with ambiguity: you prioritize, build, and ship.
Bonus points for being a first or early RevOps/SalesOps hire, exposure to marketing ops or CS ops, SQL, or experience supporting a SaaS revenue model.
