Wastewater Engineer - EIT or PE - US-Based, Fully Remote
We're partnered with a growing water and wastewater consultancy that's hiring a Wastewater Engineer to work fully remote, supporting municipal treatment and conveyance projects across the South & South East USA.
This is a design-focused role for someone who wants technical work without the commute, collaborative teams, real project ownership, and a firm that has been remote-first long enough to actually do it well.
What you'll do
Lead process and hydraulic design for wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and collection systems
Prepare plans, specifications, calculations, and design reports through all phases from planning to construction support
Run hydraulic modeling and treatment process evaluations
Coordinate with clients, regulators, and multidiscipline teams; support permitting submittals
What you'll bring
BS in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
2+ years of wastewater design experience in a consulting environment
EIT / PE license
Grounding in treatment processes, pumping systems, and collection system hydraulics
Experience with modeling and design software such as InfoWorks ICM, SewerGEM, BioWin, or GPS-X
Clear written and verbal communication, remote work rewards people who write well
