What you'll do
Research aerospace and defence markets in India and globally, covering procurement programmes, defence budgets, competitors, export opportunities and policy shifts such as indigenisation
Size and prioritise opportunities by product, customer segment and geography
Build business models covering revenue scenarios, unit economics and go-to-market assumptions
Support pricing strategy using cost-plus, value-based and competitive benchmarking approaches
Prepare analysis for tenders, RFIs and RFPs, partnership proposals, investor materials and international defence exhibitions
Profile and track prospective customers, partners, integrators and investors in a structured pipeline
Turn complex analysis into concise briefs that help leadership decide quickly
Develop and maintain financial models covering P&L, cash flow, funding requirements and programme milestones
Who you are
An engineering graduate (aerospace, mechanical, electrical or electronics preferred) with business, finance or economics exposure, or a business graduate with a strong business consulting/development grounding. An engineering degree plus or MBA or equivalent business qualification is ideal
Up to 2 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, research, finance or strategy; exceptional fresh graduates are welcome
Confident in Excel and PPT and able to build models from a blank sheet; able to tell a clear story in PowerPoint
A resourceful researcher who can piece together insight from fragmented, imperfect sources
A clear communicator in written and spoken English
Self-driven, organised and energised by the pace and ambiguity of a start-up
Strong advantage
Prior exposure to aerospace, defence or adjacent sectors through internships, projects, research or employment
