Role Description As a Power Electronics Engineer intern at Paninian Aerospace, you will support the design, analysis, and validation of power electronic circuits used in aero engine and aerospace systems. On a day-to-day basis, you will assist in schematic design, selection of electronic components, and simulation of power conversion and control circuits. You will help build and test prototypes, participate in debugging and failure analysis, and document test procedures and results. The role involves close collaboration with electronics, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams to ensure robust integration of power systems into larger aerospace architectures. This is an internship role based on-site in Hyderabad, requiring regular lab and workshop presence.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Electronic Engineering and Electrical Engineering, with an understanding of power electronics principles.
Hands-on skills in Circuit Design and practical Electronics, including familiarity with schematic tools and basic PCB workflows.
Experience or coursework involving Testing and validation of electronic circuits, including use of lab equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, power supplies).
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
Ability to interpret datasheets, apply component selection criteria, and perform basic calculations for power, thermal, and reliability.
Comfort working in an on-site lab environment, following safety practices and engineering standards.
Analytical mindset, willingness to learn, and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
Exposure to simulation tools (e.g., SPICE-based simulators, MATLAB/Simulink) and interest in aerospace applications is an advantage.
