Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Export Sales Manager (Mining Tools/Construction/Manufacturing/Electrical Works Instruments/Machineries) based in Bhiwandi. The Export Sales Manager will identify and develop international markets, manage export sales cycles, and build long-term relationships with overseas distributors, agents, and end customers. The role includes preparing business plans for target regions, setting sales targets, negotiating contracts and pricing, and ensuring compliance with export regulations and documentation. The person in this position will coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams to manage order execution, shipment schedules, and payment follow-ups. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve market research, competitor analysis, participation in trade fairs or industry events, and providing regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Sales and International Sales, with experience driving export revenue growth and managing overseas client relationships.
Knowledge of Export processes and International Business practices, including documentation, Incoterms, trade regulations, and compliance.
Business Planning skills, with the ability to develop market entry strategies, set targets, and prepare sales and budget forecasts.
Background in industrial products such as mining tools, construction equipment, manufacturing machinery, or electrical works instruments is highly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Engineering, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools, with strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; additional foreign language skills are a plus.
Proven ability to work independently, travel for client meetings or trade events as needed, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
