Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram for an Articled Assistant pursuing or qualified in CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification. The Articled Assistant will assist in accounting, auditing, taxation, and advisory assignments under the guidance of senior professionals. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing working papers, maintaining accounting records, updating accounting books, supporting statutory and internal audits, and assisting with tax computations and compliance filings. The role also involves conducting research on financial and regulatory matters, preparing client-ready reports and documentation, and maintaining clear, professional communication with clients and internal teams. The position offers exposure to diverse industries, structured learning, and practical experience aligned with professional training requirements.
Qualifications
Enrollment in or completion of CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or an equivalent recognized professional course, with strong academic performance.
Foundational knowledge of accounting standards, auditing principles, direct and indirect taxation, and corporate laws.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools; familiarity with accounting and ERP software is an advantage.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear working papers, reports, and client correspondence.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team, manage time and deadlines, and maintain professional ethics and confidentiality.
Willingness to learn, adapt to changing regulations, and participate in continuous professional development initiatives.
Prior internship or article experience in a consulting, audit, or accounting environment is preferred but not mandatory.
