Job Description – Senior Guidewire Developer
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Guidewire Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter to design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade insurance solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Guidewire implementations, a solid understanding of the Guidewire ecosystem, and the ability to independently own end-to-end delivery while collaborating effectively with global teams and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and enhance solutions within Guidewire XCenters (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter)
Work closely with onshore teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical recommendations
Own end-to-end delivery of assigned components with minimal supervision
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Ensure adherence to Guidewire best practices, coding standards, and performance considerations
Actively contribute to team collaboration across geographies (onshore/offshore model)
Required Skills & Experience:
8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in Guidewire implementations
Strong hands-on expertise in PolicyCenter.
Good to have experience in
BillingCenter
ClaimCenter
Proficiency in GOSU, Guidewire data model, and integration patterns
Experience working in distributed/onshore-offshore delivery models
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (client-facing readiness is critical)
