Lead software developer (Java Full stack)

Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java and Spring Boot.
* Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
* Build responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using React.js or Angular.
* Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
* Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
* Perform debugging, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and production support.
* Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
* Work with Git and CI/CD tools for source control and deployment.
* Collaborate with Product, QA, UI/UX, and DevOps teams.
* Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
* Prepare technical documentation and contribute to solution design.
Required Skills
Backend
* Strong proficiency in Core Java / Java 8+
* Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate
* REST API development and integration
* Microservices architecture
* Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and exception handling
Frontend
* React.js or Angular
* JavaScript / TypeScript
* HTML5 and CSS3
* Responsive web development
Database
* Strong SQL knowledge
* Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL / Oracle
* Knowledge of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases is an advantage
Tools & DevOps
* Git / GitHub / Bitbucket
* Maven / Gradle
* JUnit / Mockito
* Jenkins or other CI/CD tools
* Docker and Kubernetes knowledge is an advantage
* Exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP is an advantage
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Preferred Experience
* Experience working on enterprise or product-based applications.
* Experience with cloud deployment and CI/CD pipelines.
* Knowledge of Kafka/RabbitMQ, Spring Security, JWT/OAuth2 will be an added advantage.
* Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
