About the Role
We are looking for a CAD/CAM Engineer to program and optimise CNC and laser-cutting operations for prototyping and pilot production.
Key Responsibilities
Generate CNC programs and toolpaths from CAD models
Program and operate laser-cutting jobs for sheet materials
Design jigs and fixtures to improve assembly and production efficiency
Optimise machining parameters for speed, surface finish, accuracy, and material utilisation
Collaborate with the mechanical engineering team to provide manufacturability feedback
Key Skills Required
Strong CAD/CAM software skills — Fusion 360, Mastercam, or equivalent
Hands-on experience with CNC programming and machine operation
Understanding of jig, fixture, and tooling design
Strong attention to detail and a precision-oriented approach
Good understanding of manufacturing processes and shop-floor practices
Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering
