Role Description The Junior Accountant will work on-site in Kerala, India in a full-time capacity, supporting the finance and accounting operations of the organization. Day-to-day responsibilities include recording financial transactions, assisting with accounts payable and receivable, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. The role also involves preparing basic financial reports, supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, and ensuring documentation is accurate and organized. The Junior Accountant will collaborate with senior finance team members, support compliance with internal policies, and assist with responding to audit or regulatory information requests as needed.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess foundational accounting skills, including transaction recording, ledger maintenance, and basic financial reporting.
Candidates should possess skills in using accounting or ERP software, along with proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools.
Candidates should possess strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze and reconcile financial data.
Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with finance colleagues and other internal stakeholders.
Candidates should possess good organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet reporting deadlines.
Relevant educational qualification such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
1–2 years of relevant accounting experience
Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel
Good organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Immediate joiners preferred
