Project Support Officer

Role Description The Project Support Officer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Chennai, with a combination of office-based work and some work-from-home flexibility. This role supports project managers and consultants in delivering Vertical Transportation and Façade Access projects by coordinating documentation, tracking milestones, and maintaining project records. Daily responsibilities include preparing reports and presentations, organizing meetings, following up on action items, and supporting stakeholder communication between internal teams and external clients. The Project Support Officer will assist with data collection and analysis, help monitor project risks and issues, and contribute to scheduling, resource coordination, and status updates. The role also involves ensuring adherence to internal processes and quality standards, while providing general administrative support to keep projects running smoothly.
Qualifications
Ability to provide effective project support, including coordination, documentation, and tracking of deliverables.
Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to build positive working relationships and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in stakeholder engagement, including clear, professional communication with clients, suppliers, and internal colleagues.
Analytical skills to interpret project data, identify issues, and support evidence-based decision-making.
Understanding of basic program or project management practices, such as scheduling, risk tracking, and reporting.
Relevant academic background, such as a degree or diploma in engineering, construction, project management, or a related discipline.
Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheets, project tracking software).
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in consulting, construction, building services, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
