Role Description The Product Manager will oversee the lifecycle of assigned pharmaceutical and nutraceutical brands, including market analysis, product planning, and execution of marketing strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with medical, sales, and marketing teams to develop positioning, promotional materials, and campaigns targeted at healthcare professionals. The individual will monitor product performance, analyze sales data and market trends, and recommend initiatives to drive growth and improve brand visibility. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, requiring close coordination with cross-functional stakeholders and field teams. The Product Manager will also contribute to new product launch plans, competitor benchmarking, and continuous improvement of existing portfolios.
Qualifications
Strong product management and brand strategy skills in pharmaceuticals or healthcare.
Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and generate actionable insights.
Experience collaborating with sales, marketing, and medical teams to execute product plans.
Proficiency in planning promotional campaigns and creating product positioning materials.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent in Marketing or Healthcare Management is an advantage.
Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple products and projects.
Understanding of the Indian pharmaceutical market and regulatory environment is highly beneficial.
Comfort working on-site in Chennai and partnering with field teams and healthcare professionals.
