Product Owner

Role Description This part-time remote Product Owner role at Sumiprod Vallès, SL focuses on defining and prioritizing product features and requirements to align with business objectives and user needs. The Product Owner will maintain and refine the product backlog, translate stakeholder requests into clear user stories, and collaborate closely with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing requirements, facilitating sprint planning and reviews, and monitoring product performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvement. The role also involves coordinating with business stakeholders, documenting decisions, and ensuring that product initiatives support the company’s strategic goals.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support data-informed product decisions.
Proficiency in product management practices, including backlog management, roadmap planning, and user story creation.
Experience with business analysis, requirements gathering, and translating business needs into functional specifications.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and remote colleagues.
Understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies, with the ability to work closely with technical teams.
Prior experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role is highly beneficial.
Comfort working in a remote, part-time environment with strong self-organization and time management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
