Data Analyt (Entry / Junior)

Role Description This part-time remote Data Analyst (Entry / Junior) role at Sumiprod Vallès, SL focuses on supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. The individual in this role will assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources to prepare it for analysis and reporting. Day-to-day tasks include running basic analyses, building simple reports and dashboards, and validating data accuracy under the guidance of more senior team members. The role also involves documenting methodologies, maintaining clear records of data processes, and communicating findings in an accessible way to colleagues. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is expected to understand data needs, respond to ad-hoc requests, and contribute to continuous improvement of data workflows.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify patterns, and support problem-solving.
Foundational Data Analytics knowledge, including basic tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or BI tools) and techniques.
Understanding of Statistics, such as descriptive statistics and introductory inferential methods.
Ability in Data Modeling, including organizing data structures and designing simple models to support reporting.
Effective Communication skills to present findings clearly, collaborate with team members, and document processes.
Interest in learning and developing technical skills in data-related tools and methodologies.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
Relevant education in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with spreadsheet software and familiarity with at least one data visualization or reporting tool is beneficial.
