Our client is a rapidly growing health and longevity company backed by leading strategic investors and grounded in 15+ years of scientific research. As the business continues to scale, they are looking to add a Staff Accountant to their Finance team.
Reporting to the Finance Controller, this role will have broad exposure across accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, and process improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on, collaborative environment and wants to play a meaningful role in a growing organization.
What You’ll Do:
• Support month-end close, including preparing and posting GAAP-compliant journal entries
• Perform key balance sheet and bank account reconciliations, including fixed assets
• Assist with financial reporting, management reporting, and variance analysis
• Support forecasting, cash flow analysis, and working capital tracking
• Partner with IT, Operations, Supply Chain, AP, and AR on financial processes and data integrity
• Assist with ERP and financial systems integration and process improvements
• Identify opportunities for automation and increased efficiency within accounting
• Support internal and external audit requests
• Take on special projects and other strategic initiatives for the Controller
What They’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and account reconciliations
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience working within an ERP system
• Experience with Business Central, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems is preferred
• Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
