Fund Operations Accountant - Investment Management - Boston
A Boston-based investment firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fund Operations Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is a hands-on opportunity to support investment funds across accounting, fund operations, cash management, and investor reporting.
Responsibilities:
Support day-to-day accounting and operational activities for the management company and investment funds
Process vendor invoices, payments, wires, and maintain accurate documentation
Assist with capital calls, distributions, cash movements, and bank account administration
Support bookkeeping, reconciliations, expense allocations, and month-end processes
Assist with quarterly/annual investor reporting, fund audits, and tax reporting
Maintain investor records and communicate directly with investors, vendors, and external partners
Support ongoing accounting, reporting, and operational projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
3-5 years of experience in accounting or fund operations
Financial services or alternative investment experience preferred
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
