Reporter

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Reporter role based in Bengaluru. The Reporter will research, gather, and verify information from multiple sources to produce accurate and timely news and feature stories related to technology, business, and industry trends. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting interviews, attending events or briefings, analyzing data and reports, and transforming complex information into clear, engaging content for various platforms. The Reporter will collaborate with editorial and multimedia teams to develop story angles, create digital-ready content, and contribute to multimedia storytelling such as videos, podcasts, and social media posts. The role requires adherence to ethical reporting standards, meeting deadlines, and maintaining consistent quality and editorial integrity.
Qualifications
Strong reporting and news writing skills, with the ability to identify story angles and produce clear, accurate, and engaging content.
Excellent communication and writing abilities, including interviewing skills and the capacity to simplify technical or complex topics for diverse audiences.
Experience with multimedia content creation, such as basic video, audio, or visual storytelling for digital and social platforms.
Solid understanding of journalistic ethics, fact-checking, and verification practices, with attention to detail and critical thinking.
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple assignments.
Interest in technology, digital transformation, and business trends; prior experience reporting on IT or technology sectors is an advantage.
Proficiency with digital tools for research, content management systems, and basic analytics to understand audience engagement.
