We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee accounting activities, support financial reporting, strengthen internal processes, and work closely with management on financial and operational priorities.
The Role
As an Accounting Manager, you will coordinate day-to-day accounting activities while supporting accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, compliance processes, and management reporting. You will work with internal stakeholders to maintain reliable financial information and help improve accounting procedures and business performance.
This fully remote, part-time role is suited to an organized and analytical accounting professional who can work independently, manage deadlines effectively, and communicate financial information clearly.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, financial records, and reporting processes.
Review transactions, reconciliations, journal entries, invoices, and supporting documentation.
Coordinate monthly and periodic financial closing activities.
Prepare and review financial reports, management reports, and accounting summaries.
Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, expenses, and cash-related activities.
Support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and business planning processes.
Maintain effective accounting controls and identify opportunities to improve financial processes.
Coordinate with internal teams, external service providers, auditors, and relevant stakeholders.
Investigate accounting discrepancies and support timely resolution of financial issues.
Provide management with accurate financial insights, reports, and recommendations when required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
3+ years of professional experience in accounting, financial reporting, or a related field preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger processes.
Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense management, and financial controls.
Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
Proficiency in accounting systems, spreadsheets, and common financial reporting tools.
Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to organize financial information accurately and maintain appropriate confidentiality.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple accounting priorities independently while meeting deadlines in a remote environment.
