Role Description The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficient, high-quality service delivery across Ahmad Healthcare Hospital. This role leads operational planning, develops and implements strategies to improve clinical and administrative workflows, and drives performance metrics aligned with organizational goals. The COO collaborates closely with executive leadership, department heads, and clinical teams to optimize resource allocation, strengthen patient experience, and support regulatory compliance. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing operational data and reports, guiding budgeting and financial planning related to operations, managing cross-functional projects, and mentoring leaders to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. The COO also contributes to long-term business plans, risk management initiatives, and the integration of technology and process enhancements that support sustainable growth.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Operations Management and Business Planning skills to guide hospital-wide strategies and daily functions.
Candidates should possess solid Finance and Budgeting skills to manage operational budgets, assess financial performance, and support cost-effective decision-making.
Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate process performance, and support evidence-based improvements.
Proven leadership experience in healthcare or a related industry, with a track record of managing complex operations and cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills to work effectively with clinical and non-clinical leaders in a remote environment.
Strong problem-solving, change management, and decision-making abilities, with familiarity in quality improvement and regulatory standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; a master’s degree (e.g., MBA, MHA) is preferred.
Experience with hospital information systems, operational analytics tools, and project management methodologies is beneficial.
