📢 We're Hiring: HR Executive – Newspresso
Newspresso is growing, and we're looking for an HR professional to own employee relations across our Product and Tech teams. If you enjoy being the go-to person for people issues, culture-building, and keeping teams engaged — this is for you.
What you'll do:
Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations across Newspresso's Product and Tech functions
Manage the employee lifecycle — onboarding, engagement, performance check-ins, and offboarding
Address employee grievances, conflicts, and queries with a fair, solutions-first approach
Support hiring coordination — scheduling, offer rollouts, and documentation
Maintain HR records, attendance, and compliance documentation
Drive engagement initiatives, feedback loops, and culture activities for a distributed tech team
Partner with founders/managers on policy rollout and team morale
What we're looking for:
2-3 years of experience in HR / employee relations, preferably in a tech or startup environment
Hands-on experience with HR tools such as HRMS platforms (e.g., Keka, Zoho People, greytHR), ATS tools (e.g., Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter), and G-Suite/MS Office
Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
Understanding of basic labor compliance and HR policy documentation
Ability to work closely with both product and engineering teams — comfortable in a fast-paced, informal startup culture
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
