Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Cashier at Canva. The Cashier will handle daily payment processing, including accurately recording sales, issuing receipts, and reconciling transactions across digital platforms. The role involves assisting customers with billing questions, resolving payment issues, and providing clear, friendly support through online channels. The Cashier will follow established financial procedures, maintain accurate records, and work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth and secure transaction flows. This position requires consistent adherence to data privacy, company policies, and service quality standards in a remote work environment.
Qualifications
Strong cash handling or digital payment processing skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
Customer service and communication skills, including the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
Basic financial and numeracy skills, including transaction reconciliation and understanding of invoices and receipts.
Comfort with computer systems, online tools, and point-of-sale or payment platforms in a remote setting.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow standardized procedures.
Previous experience in cashier, retail, or customer support roles is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in finance, business, or customer service is a plus.
