Manager – Planning (Apparel | Value Retail)
Business Format Value Retail – Apparel Department Planning / Merchandise Planning
Reports To Head – Planning

Compensation Up to ₹25 LPA (CTC), commensurate with experience Location Gurugram
Role Overview The Manager –
Planning owns merchandise planning, inventory optimisation and sales forecasting for the apparel business, ensuring the right product is available at the right store, at the right time and in the right quantity. In a value retail environment – where volumes are high, price points are sharp and margins are tight – the role is central to driving sell-through, stock turns, margin and working-capital efficiency across stores and channels
Key Responsibilities:
Merchandise planning & sales forecasting
Inventory optimisation & replenishment
Allocation and store-wise stock balancing
OTB & budget management
Markdown / EOSS planning
Sales, sell-through, GMROI & stock-turn analysis
Cross-functional coordination with Buying, Supply Chain, Retail Operations & Finance
Candidate Profile:
10–15 years of experience in retail/merchandise planning, preferably apparel
Experience in value/discount/large-format retail
Hands-on experience in OTB, allocation, replenishment and markdown planning
Strong retail analytics and advanced Excel skills
Knowledge of BI tools and ERP/planning systems
