Are you a strategic thinker who excels at bridging the gap between business vision and enterprise technology? A leading, nationwide infrastructure services organization is undergoing a landmark digital transformation by building a centralized, world-class SAP S/4HANA team. We are seeking a dynamic process manager to take charge as the strategic gatekeeper for all incoming system enhancements, project requests, and strategic initiatives.
In this pivotal role, you will evaluate incoming business demand, challenge assumptions to reveal true operational requirements, protect platform integrity, and align technical backlogs directly with bottom-line executive priorities.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Serve as the primary entry point for all non-incident platform requests, triaging and routing validated demand to domain architects and product leads.
Partner directly with cross-functional operational leaders to translate high-level business needs into structured requirements, enforcing strict ROI and problem-statement standards before allocating technical resources.
Uncover overlapping needs across distinct business units to unify repetitive requests into single, scalable enterprise solutions.
Maintain full visibility of the demand funnel and present prioritized backlogs to executive leadership committees for final approval and capital allocation.
Confidently decline or redirect requests that deviate from core system design principles or low-value returns, partnering with change management when training can solve operational hurdles.
Here’s what our ideal candidate has:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (an advanced degree or MBA is highly desirable).
7+ years of progressive experience overseeing IT request intake, enterprise software governance, or business architecture within large-scale corporate environments.
Demonstrated ability to present to C-suite stakeholders, lead steering committees, and drive alignment across competing business priorities without direct authority.
Strong in ROI modeling, value capture, enterprise process optimization, and converting complex functional requests into clear technical execution paths.
Experience using modern work-management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) alongside industry credentials such as PMP, CBAP, or enterprise ERP certifications.
