Merlin Search Solutions is looking for a skilled and motivated .NET Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in C#, .NET / .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Web API, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
🔹 Experience

Coimbatore | Hybrid / Remote
🔹 Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using C# and .NET / .NET Core.
Build responsive front-end interfaces using modern frameworks (Vue.Js, NodeJS, React or Angular)
Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services.
Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and efficient code.
Work with SQL Server, including queries, joins, views, and stored procedures.
Implement database operations using Entity Framework / EF Core.
Analyze requirements and develop new features and enhancements.
Debug and troubleshoot application, API, and database-related issues.
Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.
Write and maintain basic unit tests to ensure code quality.
Collaborate with QA, UI developers, and other technical teams.
Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Investigate and resolve production issues when required.
🔹 Required Skills
2–4 years of professional experience in .NET development.
Strong knowledge of C# and .NET / .NET Core.
Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js
Hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core and Web API.
Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, and API concepts.
Good knowledge of SQL Server and SQL queries.
Experience with Entity Framework / EF Core.
Strong understanding of OOP concepts and basic Design Patterns.
Familiarity with Git and source-control practices.
Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
🔹 Good to Have
Experience with AWS or Azure.
Basic knowledge of Docker and CI/CD.
Familiarity with application logging, monitoring, and performance troubleshooting.
Experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit.
🔹 Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
