Merlin Search Solutions is looking for a skilled and motivated Automation Tester / QA Automation Engineer to join our team.

🔹 Key Responsibilities
-Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
-Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
-Design and maintain reusable automation frameworks.
-Analyze test results and identify software defects.
-Log, track, and validate defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
-Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
-Participate in requirement analysis and identify suitable automation scenarios.
-Contribute to improving test coverage, test processes, and automation efficiency.
-Work effectively within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
🔹 Required Skills
-2–4 years of experience in Software Testing / Automation Testing.
-Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright.
-Good programming knowledge in Java and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
-Experience with TestNG/JUnit or equivalent test frameworks.
-Good understanding of Page Object Model (POM) and automation framework concepts.
-Knowledge of API testing / Postman.
-Good understanding of SQL and database testing.
-Familiarity with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
-Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and defect life cycle.
-Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
🔹 Good to Have
-Experience with Playwright + TypeScript.
-Experience developing or enhancing automation frameworks.
-API automation experience.
-Knowledge of Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
-Experience with cross-browser testing.
🔹 Education
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
-Equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
