About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior US HR – Healthcare Credentialing Specialist to manage the complete post-offer HR, credentialing, and onboarding process for healthcare professionals.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in US Healthcare Staffing, with particular experience supporting Government, State, and Federal healthcare customers.
This role requires someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can work directly with clinicians, guide them through the credentialing and onboarding process, answer their questions, follow up on pending requirements, and ensure they are fully compliant and ready for deployment.
The selected candidate will become the primary point of contact for clinicians once the offer letter is signed and will take ownership of the process through successful onboarding and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Take complete ownership of the post-offer process, from offer acceptance through credentialing, onboarding, and deployment.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clinicians throughout the credentialing and onboarding process.
Clearly explain credentialing requirements, documentation, timelines, and next steps to clinicians.
Guide clinicians step-by-step through the credentialing packet, ensuring all required information and documents are completed accurately and on time.
Manage and complete credentialing packets, particularly for Government, State, and Federal healthcare customers.
Collect, review, validate, and maintain required clinician documentation.
Verify licenses, certifications, education, employment history, and other required credentials.
Coordinate background checks, drug screening, medical requirements, immunizations, and other pre-employment compliance activities.
Track all credentialing and onboarding requirements, pending documents, renewals, and expiration dates.
Proactively follow up with clinicians to obtain missing, incomplete, or expired documentation.
Identify and resolve credentialing or compliance gaps that may impact deployment.
Maintain accurate and complete credentialing records and ensure documentation is ready for client review or audit.
Coordinate closely with Recruiting, HR, Compliance, Delivery, Payroll, and Account Management teams.
Provide regular status updates on credentialing and onboarding progress.
Ensure clinicians are fully compliant with client-specific, State, Federal, and US healthcare staffing requirements before deployment.
Support ongoing recredentialing, renewals, and compliance updates as required.
Required Qualifications & Experience
4+ years of hands-on experience in US HR / US Healthcare Staffing / Credentialing.
Strong hands-on experience managing healthcare credentialing and onboarding.
Direct experience working with Government, State, and Federal healthcare customers is strongly preferred.
Hands-on experience completing and managing healthcare credentialing packets.
Experience supporting the onboarding of healthcare professionals such as RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and Allied Health professionals.
Strong understanding of US healthcare staffing documentation and compliance requirements.
Experience handling license and certification verification, background checks, drug screening, medical requirements, and other credentialing activities.
Strong hands-on HR experience with the ability to independently manage the complete post-offer process.
Experience working in W2, C2C, and contract staffing environments is preferred.
