Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Product & Packaging Designer to join our growing consumer products division. In this role, you will support the design and product development teams by creating brand rights, trend-driven products and packaging for major licensed and branded programs, including brands such as Reebok, Coca-Cola, John Deere, and others. This is a remote position that requires strong communication skills, self-direction, and the ability to collaborate effectively with U.S.-based cross functional teams.
Responsibilities
• Conduct trend research across sporting goods, outdoor games, home, electronics, and lifestyle categories.
• Perform competitive research through online retail and marketplaces.
• Design products such as camp & beach chairs, coolers, tents/canopies, sports accessories, and indoor/outdoor games, including inflatable chairs, mini pool volleyball sets, dart games, minigolf, balls, and similar products.
• Translate research into commercial, brand-right product, and packaging concepts.
• Propose and develop appropriate packaging solutions for each product.
• Create product designs, colorways, graphics, and packaging concepts.
• Leverage AI tools for ideation, mood boards, and presentation visuals, lifestyle images, and product usability considerations.
• Develop CAD drawings, technical sketches, dielines, and presentations.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Sales, and Licensing teams.
• Ensure alignment with licensed brand standards and U.S. retailer requirements.
• Communicate with teams and vendors using digital tools.
Requirements (Must-Have)
• Bachelor's degree in industrial design, Product Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in consumer product and packaging design.
• Experience with branded or licensed products.
• Experience working with U.S. retailers preferred.
• Strong portfolio of product and packaging work in similar product categories.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work remotely.
