Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Manager role based in Nagpur. The Maintenance Manager oversees day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring all machinery, equipment, and facility systems function safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshooting breakdowns, coordinating maintenance and repair activities, and managing maintenance staff and contractors. The role also involves maintaining accurate maintenance records, monitoring spare parts inventory, supporting safety and compliance initiatives, and collaborating with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
Qualifications
Strong maintenance management capabilities, including Maintenance Management and Supervisory Skills.
Hands-on experience in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated expertise in Preventive Maintenance planning and implementation.
Ability to interpret technical manuals, equipment drawings, and maintenance documentation.
Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and safety standards.
Effective communication and team leadership skills, with capacity to coach and develop maintenance personnel.
Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
Experience in metal casting or heavy manufacturing is an advantage.
