Senior Business Analyst - Energy Sector (f/m/x)

You will join a project implemented in the power sector, aimed at developing and maintaining a global platform supporting the configuration and pricing of energy devices. The CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) system plays a key role in sales and engineering processes, enabling the creation of offers that meet technical and business requirements. The solution is integrated with the ecosystem of corporate applications, including SAP, Salesforce, and PLM systems. The role requires close collaboration with domain experts and provides an opportunity to gain knowledge in the area of transformers and modern technologies used in the energy sector.
Your tasks
Analysis of business and technical requirements submitted by stakeholders
Gathering and clarifying needs related to monitoring and managing energy devices
Preparing functional specifications and user stories
Collaboration with the Product Owner, domain experts, and development teams
Modeling business processes and data flows
Participation in designing integrations between client systems and external solutions – significant integrations with PLM (product lifecycle management), SAP, Salesforce systems
Supporting the team during testing, deployments, and impact analysis of changes
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in business requirements analysis
Domain knowledge in the field of energy, electrical devices, and transformers
Very good knowledge of English (B2+/C1) enabling daily collaboration in an international environment
Experience in conducting workshops, gathering, and analyzing business requirements
Ability to collaborate with business and technical teams
Experience in process analysis and requirements modeling
Willingness to work closely with technical issues and domain experts
Desire to understand processes and products related to the production, service, and monitoring of transformers
Proactive approach to learning and understanding the specifics of the industry
