Role Description The Financial Inclusion District Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Telangana, India. This role oversees district-level financial inclusion initiatives, including planning, implementing, and monitoring programs that extend banking and financial services to underserved communities. The person in this role will manage field teams, coordinate with partner banks and agencies, track performance against outreach and service targets, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and guidelines. Daily responsibilities include reviewing operational reports, resolving escalated issues, conducting site visits, facilitating community engagement activities, and ensuring quality customer service and data accuracy. The District Manager will also promote inclusive practices, support training and capacity building for staff, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and service delivery.
Qualifications
Strong Program Management and Project Management skills to plan, execute, and monitor district-level financial inclusion initiatives.
Experience in Diversity & Inclusion and Employee Engagement to foster an inclusive, motivated, and high-performing field workforce.
Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and community stakeholders.
Background in banking, financial services, or financial inclusion programs is highly beneficial.
Ability to analyze data, prepare performance reports, and use insights to drive improvements in outreach and service quality.
Proven people-management experience, including supervising field teams and conducting training and performance evaluations.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, social sciences, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
Comfort working on-site across district locations in Telangana and willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed.
