About the role
We are working to build the future of AI by pushing the boundaries of what frontier models can achieve. This role focuses on reconstructing complex buildings from 2D architectural and structural drawings into 3D IFC models, and judging whether AI-generated models accurately capture the documented design. We’re looking for practicing architects with hands-on BIM experience who can provide and/or generate suitable architectural sheets and associated structural drawings they are authorized to share and use for this project.
Responsibilities
Interpret floor plans, elevations, sections, schedules, and structural documentation to create accurate 3D building models.
Produce IFC files that capture building layouts, architectural elements, and their relationships to the structure.
Review AI-generated models and reference models, identify misinterpretations or missing elements, and explain how they should change.
Develop reference deliverables and review criteria, documenting assumptions where the drawings leave details unresolved.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, or a closely related field, or equivalent professional experience.
At least 3 years of relevant professional experience, with current work in architectural practice and hands-on BIM modeling.
Required Skills
Experience working from architectural construction documents for complex buildings.
Proficiency with BIM authoring tools and producing and checking IFC files.
Strong understanding of building construction and architectural–structural coordination.
Attention to detail and clear written English for explaining design interpretations and model-review feedback.
