Role Description The Production Supervisor CNC/VMC is a full-time, on-site role based in the Lonavala. This role oversees day-to-day CNC and VMC machining operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety guidelines are met. Responsibilities include managing operator teams, assigning tasks, monitoring machine performance, and resolving production issues. The Production Supervisor will coordinate production schedules, optimize resource utilization, track output, and maintain production records. The role also involves collaborating with quality, maintenance, and planning teams to support continuous improvement and timely delivery.
Qualifications
Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership and shop-floor coordination.
Ability to manage production schedules and handle production planning activities.
Experience in production management within CNC/VMC machining environments.
Effective communication skills for interacting with operators, engineers, and management.
Hands-on experience with CNC/VMC machines, tooling, and basic troubleshooting.
Knowledge of quality standards, safety practices, and ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or a related discipline.
Prior experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
