Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in the Purba Bardhaman district. The Relationship Manager will build and maintain strong relationships with customers and local partners, helping them understand and choose suitable insurance products. Responsibilities include providing in-person assistance, explaining product features and benefits, addressing queries, and guiding customers through policy purchase and servicing. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams, monitoring customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities to improve retention and cross-selling. The Relationship Manager will be expected to maintain accurate records, follow regulatory guidelines, and represent PBPartners in a professional and customer-focused manner.
Qualifications
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with diverse customer groups in person.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal explanation of insurance concepts and active listening.
Basic understanding of insurance products and willingness to learn about policy features, regulatory requirements, and documentation.
Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple customer interactions, follow-ups, and reporting responsibilities.
Comfort working on-site in the Purba Bardhaman district and collaborating with local partners and internal teams.
Proficiency with basic digital tools (email, spreadsheets, CRM or similar systems) for recording and tracking customer information.
Prior experience in sales, insurance, financial services, or customer-facing roles is an advantage but not strictly required.
Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, or related fields is beneficial.
