Healthcare & Community Partnerships Intern

Conversations to Remember is a nonprofit organization dedicated to combating loneliness and isolation among seniors through weekly video visits. We connect passionate college student volunteers with seniors who yearn for meaningful connections and enjoyable conversations. Our mission is to make a positive impact on the lives of isolated seniors, bringing joy, companionship, and emotional support to them.
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated volunteers or interns to join our team, promoting our program to organizations to find older adults in need of our free service.
Healthcare & Community Partnerships Intern:
In this role, you'll work to grow our program by promoting it to other organizations. You'll support that organization as they navigate the approval and onboarding process, answering their questions, so they can enroll their seniors in it.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting research and analysis to identify suitable organizations for promotion efforts.
Identifying the appropriate authority in those organizations and speaking to them about our programs.
Tracking contacts for follow-up and metrics
Crafting personalized outreach messages to introduce Conversations to Remember and its mission to potential partners, following up, and responding to questions.
Scheduling virtual meetings to engage with interested parties and address their questions.
Collaborating with the team to develop new outreach strategies and continuously improve the outreach process.
Training:
We'll train you to conduct the outreach, track your efforts, and drive next steps.
Hours:
Volunteers are allowed to choose when they work, but are expected to work at least 10 hours per week, for a minimum of 16 weeks, during standard business hours. All hours must be submitted through our portal for tracking and certification.
These positions are available for both internships or volunteering.
