User Research Intern

Role Description The User Research Intern is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role involves planning and conducting user research with hotel stakeholders and internal teams to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities for improving LinenGrass’s services and tools. The intern will support the design and execution of interviews, surveys, and observations, synthesize findings into clear insights, and contribute to service design decisions, product refinements, and process improvements. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product, operations, and technology teams, preparing research materials, documenting results, and presenting key learnings in an accessible format. The role offers hands-on exposure to hospitality operations, service design, and data-driven decision-making in a fast-growing, technology-enabled service company.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in user-centered practices, including User Research and Human Computer Interaction, with the ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
Experience or interest in Service Design, focusing on end-to-end service journeys, stakeholder touchpoints, and operational processes.
Ability to conduct Quantitative Research with solid Analytical Skills for working with survey data, metrics, and performance indicators.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present research findings clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Comfort working on-site in operational environments such as hotels, laundries, and logistics hubs, with attention to detail and observational skills.
Proficiency with common research and documentation tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation tools, collaboration platforms); familiarity with UX or design tools is a plus.
