Role Description This is a full-time Accountant role based in Anand with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. The Accountant will manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with monthly and annual financial closing. The role involves preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations. The Accountant will coordinate with internal teams, external auditors, and vendors, while maintaining accurate records and supporting process improvements in the finance function.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Understanding of taxation, statutory compliance, and regulatory requirements relevant to corporate finance.
Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA) are an advantage.
Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within an industrial, environmental, or services-oriented organization.
Comfort with a hybrid work model in Anand, with the ability to work independently and uphold confidentiality and ethical standards.
