Role Description The Medical Laboratory Technician at mvid hospital is a full-time, on-site role based in South Delhi. The technician will perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on blood, body fluids, and tissue samples, following established protocols and safety guidelines. Daily responsibilities include preparing specimens, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, documenting test results, and assisting in troubleshooting technical issues. The role involves collaborating with medical staff to ensure timely and accurate reporting, participating in quality control and assurance activities, and maintaining clear, organized records. The technician will also help manage consumables and support adherence to infection control and biosafety standards in the laboratory.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Medical Technology knowledge and a solid foundation in Laboratory Medicine.
Candidates should possess core Laboratory Skills, including specimen collection, processing, and test execution.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Quality Control practices and adherence to laboratory standards and protocols.
Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Laboratory Equipment, including operation, calibration, and basic maintenance.
Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field from a recognized institution.
Knowledge of biosafety procedures, infection control, and relevant regulatory guidelines.
Attention to detail, accurate data entry skills, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Prior experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting is preferred but not mandatory.
