Role Description The Founding Software Marketing Team member will play a central role in defining and executing the marketing strategy for Synapses Network’s software products. This full-time remote role involves conducting market research to understand customer needs, competitor positioning, and emerging trends. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing marketing plans, crafting messaging and value propositions, supporting sales enablement materials, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to align features with market demand. The role also includes working closely with prospects and customers to gather feedback, strengthen relationships, and identify opportunities for growth. As part of a founding team, this position requires comfort with ambiguity, hands-on execution, and a willingness to iterate quickly.
Qualifications
Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to present complex concepts in an accessible way.
Proficiency in Market Research, including customer interviews, competitive analysis, and data-driven insights to inform product and marketing decisions.
Experience in Sales-related activities, such as supporting sales teams with collateral, participating in demos, and translating product capabilities into customer value.
Ability to create and implement Marketing Strategy, including positioning, messaging, campaign planning, and go-to-market execution for software products.
Customer Service orientation, with a focus on building trust, gathering feedback, and ensuring a positive experience across the customer lifecycle.
Familiarity with digital marketing tools and channels (e.g., email, content marketing, social media, analytics platforms).
Comfort working in a startup or early-stage environment, with the ability to take initiative and operate with limited structure.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Interest in technology and software products, with the ability to quickly understand and communicate product features and benefits.
